Crappy handwriting included. :XD: I hope it helps at least a little. There are so many awesome wing-tutorials on dA, but they are all with a lot of text and anatomy-bricks right in the face. I wanted to give some tips that help immediately with actually drawing them, and maybe as a help for people who don't have the nerve to study anatomy :D

I've always been confused, do their front appendages fold like our hand can or do they rotate when they close their wings?

They can't rotate, no.As far as I know, the wing-hand is able to do the same movements as our hands (since the bones are theoretical the same
